Founder • Teacher • Pilates Movement Specialist


​I’m the founder of HIX Pilates & Wellness, and I’ve spent over 20 years immersed in movement, fitness, and wellbeing, with more than 16 years teaching Pilates. I’m passionate about helping people move with strength, confidence, and clarity, no matter where they’re starting from.
​
I bring a mix of academic knowledge and classical training to my teaching. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Sport & Exercise Science, a PGCE in Education, a STOTT Pilates Certification, and a 500-hour Classical Pilates Comprehensive Certification, and Sports Therapy.. This combination allows me to blend scientific understanding with authentic classical Pilates, creating sessions that are safe, effective, and deeply tailored to each individual.

I love working with clients who need a more personalised approach - whether it’s recovering from injury or back issues, navigating pregnancy or postnatal recovery, rehabilitation after breast cancer, managing neurological conditions, or refining athletic performance.
Every person brings a unique story, and I design sessions to match your body, your goals, and your lifestyle.

Pilates is a lifelong discipline, and I continue to learn and evolve through ongoing training with leading Classical Pilates educators. I teach the full Classical Pilates system as Joseph Pilates intended, focusing on precision, progression, and mindful movement. I’ve been lucky to work with people across the UK and the Netherlands - from complete beginners to professional athletes and I bring the same care and attention to every session.

My mission is simple: to help you move well, feel well, and live well - building a body that truly supports you, both in the studio and beyond.
